Congratulations to the 11u Red team on their 1st place finish at the Batavia Bulldogs Blast. The team went 2-0 in pool play to earn the 1 seed winning by scores of 14-3 and 13-3.

Sunday proved to be a complete team effort with great pitching, defense, timely hitting and a lot of determination.

Game 1 saw the Rebels trailing 5-2 in the bottom of the 6th. The Ellens boys started a rally with consecutive hits and Laubinger capped off the game with a 2 out, 2 run walk off HR.

Game 2 saw more drama in a low scoring extra inning game. M Ellens got the Rebels on the board with a 3 run HR. That was all the scoring until Riley capped the game off with a bases loaded walk off single for a 4-3 victory.

Game 3 saw the Rebels trailing 4-3 in the 3rd inning before Vandermolen hit a grand slam to put the Rebels ahead for good. Laubinger capped off the scoring with a 3 run HR in the 4th. Teehan and B Ellens took the Rebels home on the mound with great support from their defense.
